There is no running surface but one can run loops around the perimeter in the street which isn’t very busy. It’s mostly flat with a slight incline. The day I visited, the playground was full of families; that and the highway noise permeates the area but it’s still a pretty pleasant and partially shaded little run. Each loop around is about 0.3 miles. Ample street parking is available; other than the playground there are no other facilities.

This blog chronicles my journey to run in every park in Austin. As an outdoor enthusiast, admirer of wildlife, and ultramarathoner who’s completed more than 35 distance races around the country, I explore our great green spaces while combining that with my fitness pursuits.
